About
I have been practising yoga since 2011 and have been lucky enough to work with many wonderful teachers who continue to inspire & guide me on my yoga journey. I love to explore different styles of yoga & movement, and I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training with Pure Light Yoga School in 2018. I have also completed additional training in Budokon Yoga with Cameron Shayne, and Yin Yoga with Sarah Lo. I teach a variety of styles, but what remains constant is my desire to provide a relaxed, informal and above all fun class to my students. I belive that in order to gain the full benefits of a regular yoga practice, the most important thing is to find a style you enjoy!

Below are some examples of styles that I teach, for more information regarding current classes go to https://bookwhen.com/coreyogi
Vinyasa Flow Yoga

A fluid, dynamic style of yoga where we flow from one pose to the next, linking movement with the breath to create a moving meditation. The class may focus on a particular theme or work towards a peak pose. Bring your sense of fun, and expect to work hard & leave smiling!
Slow Flow Yoga

In these all-level classes, we dedicate a little more time to look at the alignment and modifications of poses, while still enjoying linking the movement to the breath through flows and transitions. This is a great place to start if you are new to yoga, or if you want to focus on building and strengthening the foundations of your yoga practice.
Yin Yoga

In yin yoga, floor-based poses are held for a longer period, anything from 3-10 minutes! The focus is on finding stillness, release and creating space. The practice is both challenging and calming, leaving students relaxed and rejuvenated.

"Today I had the pleasure of being taught by Jo. Her class was a flowing vinyasa class accompanied by very chilled, motivating music. Jo is a very empowering teacher, her instructions and modifications are delivered in a nurturing and inclusive manner. She has a passion for yoga which oozes from her every pore....go....enjoy...breathe....you will be so glad you did"
